Aum Symbolizes Ultimate Truth

Aum(also known as Ohm or Om) is said to be the most sacred syllable in Hinduism, the highest of all divine word (shabda or mantra).  Aum is said to be the essence of the Vedas(holy ancient scriptures of knowledge).

Aum is commonly pronounced as A is produced by the throat, U and M by the lips. The syllable is taken to consist of three phonemes, A, U and M, variously symbolizing the three Vedas or the three stages of life (birth, life and death) or the Hindu Trinity(Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva).

OHM

Aum or Om is the symbol of universal creation and symbolizes ultimate truth and as A stands for Creation, U stands for Preservation, M stands for  dissolution or destruction. Aum is interpreted more than hundreds of references in Upanishad & entire Mundakyo Upanishad(Vedic philosophy, part of Vedas) emphasizes on importance & explanation of Aum.

Aum symbol is fourfold in nature, which consists of one circle(The ultimate truth means Lord who is omnipresent) & four curves represents four interpretation states. The semi circle detached is beyond common human experience or thought & is infinity or supernatural, upper curve is deep sleep state, middle curve is dream state & lower curve represent waking state.

Aum is said as primordial sound(Pranav mantra) or original sound or the sound of cosmic energy which is the universal symbol of entire cosmos creation as this syllable leads to spiritual force. Aum is not just a symbol or sound, when with complete concentration & internal spiritual energy it is pronounced, it gives peace & happiness to our soul.
