Noise Pollution is like Hurricane Igor or Traphic Siphon on human health

Noise is an unwanted sound that causes nuisance. The word noise comes from the Latin word nausea's. Noise is a disturbance to the human environment that's why it is known as environmental noise too.It is escalating at such a high rate that it will become a major threat to the quality of human lives. The source of most outdoor noise worldwide is mainly construction and transportation systems, including motor vehicle noise, aircraft noise and rail noise as their unwanted sound comes from different sources so we can say it is "Traphic Siphon" noise.
Indoor and outdoor noise pollution sources include  emergency service sirens, mechanical equipment, electric megaphones, fireworks, compressed air horns, grounds keeping equipment, barking dogs, car alarms, appliances, loud people, lighting hum video & audio entertainment systems(In a broader sense, film grain or even loud  advertisements encountered while looking for something else can be considered noise).

Effects on human health
Noise effects are both health and behavioral in nature. This unwanted sound can damage physiological and psychological health. Noise pollution can cause annoyance and aggression, hypertension, high stress levels, tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, and other harmful effects.Furthermore, stress and hypertension are the leading causes to health problems, whereas tinnitus can lead to forgetfulness, severe depression and at times panic attacks.
Newspapers like New York Times wrote much on this nuisance whereas websites like Fox News also has given news "how 'Noise Pollution' From iPods Gets Irritating in Public"it is effecting human health. Noise pollution is creating nuisance and increasing day by day.It got a bad effect on years like:
• Deafness
•Temporary Deafness: This Persists for about 24 hours after exposure to loud noise.
• Permanent Deafness: Repeated or continuous exposure to noise of around 100 dB results in permanent hearing loss.
Even single exposure to noise of 160 dB can lead to rupture of ear drum and permanent deafness.
In cases of long term exposure to moderately loud noise, the onset and progress of noise induced deafness is very gradual and by the time the individual is already somewhat deaf, he/she many not be aware of the deafness until the deafness starts affecting the person's ability to hear normal conversation, telephone or mobile phones rings and doorbells etc.
• Auditory Fatigue
Noise of 90 dB causes buzzing and whistling in the ears.
Not only on human it is affecting, old historical monuments like Eiffel Tower, Qutab Minar, Taj Mahal and many more, affecting wildlife also.Noise can have a detrimental effect on animals by causing stress, increasing risk of death by changing the delicate balance in predator/prey detection and avoidance, and by interfering with their use of sounds in communication especially in relation to reproduction and in navigation. Acoustic overexposure can lead to temporary or permanent loss of hearing.Wii(Wildlife Institute of India) given studies about environmental effects and concerns.
Control of noise pollution:
1. Locate in the building as far as possible from noise source. The noise level drops about 6dB each time the distance is doubled.
2. Trees and shrubs may be planted in front of building to provide some absorption for the sound.
3. Locate non-critical areas such as corridors kitchens, bathrooms, elevators and service spaces in the noisy side and critical areas each as bedrooms and living spaces on the quiet side.
4. Back to back bathrooms or toilets should be avoided unless they are effectively sound isolated. Bathrooms, kitchen and laundry rooms should not be adjacent to the floor.
5. Bathroom walls, floor and ceiling should be sound insulated using construction of high sound insulation glasses.
6. Noisy toilets, is bettered by quiet siphon jet type flush toilets should be installed to reduce the noise from the source. Commode seats with double siphon system are now available and may be adopted wherever possible.
5. Road Noise. Vegetation buffer zones must be created in different parts of the city. Efforts should be made for roadside plantations.
6. An Urgent Need for Legislation to Control Noise Pollution. We have seen that in India, in absences of a specific legislation for control and prevention of the noise pollution.People can be educated through radio, TV, newsreels in cinema halls about noise pollution.Parenthood is most important for children s so it is duty of responsible parents that they must inform that how shouting, listening loud radio, horn unnecessarily on the roads, quarreling amongst each other, watching loud T.V's are injurious to health.
7.Public awakening  is must for control, otherwise politician in this world will just make castle for themselves & will play their business cards only, it is public who will  aware them..So it is very important. In this regard television, radio, internet, and newspapers should give a campaign for wide publicity.Mail letters  to Government agencies for the awareness is another good way to control it.
8.On internet people can make awareness by making pages related to health on facebook.com, can make blogs too on  blogger or word press as they all provide you free space.

Let we all aware our society & feel like "Dancing with the stars" regarding health issues and social issues because these environmental concern and awareness can reform ecology, so that weather and natural disasters like Hurricane Igor can be avoided.
